High-speed internet is essential to daily life. So many homes don’t have a connection or it’s not fast or reliable enough to get their tasks done. R1 is working on a service map and plan to expand coverage and programs for more equitable internet connection in the county. Rochelle Residents and Parents,
Rochelle Elementary District is asking that all students and residents not use the Tilton Elementary School grounds or playground facilities during the construction and repairs going on this summer at Tilton Elementary School. This is for your safety and protection. Tilton School will be an ongoing construction site through the summer of 2026.
Students (and staff!) had a great time today on the inflatable obstacle course during our field day! We wish all of our students a fun and safe summer. See you in August!

We are honored to recognize Ms. Jessica Hickey as the recipient of the Illinois Principal Association (IPA) Leadership Award. Ms. Hickey has been teaching 7th grade ELA in the district for four years and continues to help her students grow and succeed. She's a key part of both the 7th grade team and the ELA department, always bringing a positive and collaborative attitude. Most importantly, she focuses on building strong relationships with her students, and it’s clear how much they appreciate and care about her. Congratulations, Ms. Hickey!

If you are interested in playing volleyball next school year and/or attending the camp in August, here is some information about those dates and the Google Form to sign up for camp. All of the information you need about the dates and times of camp and tryouts is on the attached documents. Payments can be made by cash or check (made out to RMS) and brought to the main office at RMS at any time before or on the first day of camp.
