Rochelle Middle School proudly celebrates Ms. Beth Hahn as she is being recognized as one of seven educators in Rochelle Schools recognized for the Illinois State Board of Education's "Those Who Excel" program. Ms. Hahn has 32 years of dedicated service as a 6th grade social studies teacher. Known for her humor, creativity, and energy, Ms. Hahn creates an engaging and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued. She continuously adapts her teaching to make learning meaningful and enjoyable, inspiring both students and colleagues through her positivity and resilience. Ms. Hahn’s dedication, innovation, and joyful spirit have truly enriched the Rochelle school community.

La Escuela Secundaria Rochelle se enorgullece de celebrar a la Sra. Beth Hahn, quien ha sido reconocida como una de las siete educadoras destacadas por el programa "Those Who Excel" de la Junta Estatal de Educación de Illinois. La Sra. Hahn cuenta con 32 años de servicio dedicado como maestra de estudios sociales de sexto grado. Conocida por su sentido del humor, creatividad y energía, la Sra. In honor of Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead on November 1st/2nd), Ms. Milan, Ms. Ramirez, and Ms. Milan created a beautiful ofrenda for Rochelle Middle School to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. As part of this meaningful display, they invited students and staff to share photos of their own family members and friends, fostering a sense of community and remembrance. They also took time to explain what an ofrenda represents and its deep significance in Hispanic culture - highlighting how it serves as a way to celebrate the lives of those who came before us and keep their memory alive through love, tradition, and shared stories.

La señora Milan, senora Ramirez y la señora Milan crearon una hermosa ofrenda para la Escuela Secundaria Rochelle con el propósito de honrar y recordar a los seres queridos que han fallecido. Como parte de esta significativa exhibición, invitaron a los estudiantes y al personal a compartir fotos de sus propios familiares y amigos, fomentando un sentido de comunidad y recuerdo. También se tomaron el tiempo para explicar qué representa una ofrenda y su profundo significado en la cultura hispana, destacando cómo sirve para celebrar la vida de quienes nos precedieron y mantener viva su memoria a través del amor, la tradición y las historias compartidas.
