Teresa has been an important part of the Rochelle schools family for many years, and we were especially fortunate to have her become part of the RTHS Counseling Center team for the final chapter of her career. As our registrar, she has been someone we could always count on, and her hard work, dedication, and willingness to help have made a difference to so many students, families, and staff members over the years.
Thank you, Teresa, for everything you have done for Rochelle schools and for the countless ways you have supported RTHS. Your years of dedication are truly appreciated, and your presence in the Counseling Center will certainly be missed.
We hope retirement brings you plenty of time to enjoy your family, your two furry family members, tend to your beautiful plants, give a few Bison Tours, and, most importantly, enjoy life without Parchment, Skyward, or state reports! 😊
Wishing you all the best in this well-deserved new chapter, Teresa! Happy Retirement! 💜🤍
WHY IT MATTERS:
Kids build confidence by doing things for themselves. Age-appropriate independence gives children opportunities to solve problems, make decisions and discover, “I can do this.”
TRY THIS:
Choose one thing you normally do for your child and let them take the lead this week: pack their backpack, make a snack, order at a restaurant, talk to a teacher or handle another age-appropriate responsibility.
What could your child do for themselves that you’re still doing for them? This week, choose one small way to step back and let them step up.
One small change at a time.
