If you are interested in signing up for fall classes, you are encouraged to attend one of the meetings. RTHS Honors February Rotary Student of the Month: Cambrey Rodeghero

Rochelle Township High School is proud to recognize senior Cambrey Rodeghero as the February Rotary Student of the Month.

Throughout her four years at RTHS, Cambrey has shown an exceptional commitment to service, earning an impressive 668 Silver Service Volunteer Hours. This outstanding achievement reflects her dedication to helping others while maintaining strong academic performance and balancing a full schedule of extracurricular activities including Cheerleading, Student Council, Interact, FFA, and the Senior Business Leadership Program.

Cambrey has generously shared her time and talents in support of numerous school and community initiatives. Her volunteer efforts include participating in Make a Difference Day; coaching RJT and St. Paul cheer; serving on R.O.C.K. Christian retreats; volunteering with Feed My Starving Children; assisting with church fundraisers; working at the Rochelle Little League and St. Paul concession stands; helping with Vacation Bible School; taking part in the CAN shopping trip; serving as a volunteer lifeguard; working as an office monitor during her study hall; contributing to Prom and Homecoming Committee; assisting during Hub Powerlifting; chairing Ag Day; cleaning roadsides with Interact Club; and providing childcare during Birth to Five Illinois meetings.

In recognition of her dedication to volunteerism, Cambrey has earned the prestigious Silver Cord, which will be presented at Honors Night this May.

Dr. Lewis shares that “Cambrey is an outstanding choice for Rotary Student of the Month, noting that she exemplifies academic excellence along with strong leadership and service”.

RTHS congratulates Cambrey Rodeghero on being named the February Rotary Student of the Month and commends her dedication to serving others. We look forward to all she will accomplish in the future as she pursues her goal of attending law school.

Today, the RTHS Choirs proudly hosted the Interstate 8 Choral Festival. Choirs from Sycamore High School, Kaneland High School, Ottawa Township High School, LaSalle-Peru Township High School, and Morris Township High School came together for a day of shared music-making and collaboration. Each group also had the opportunity to work with guest clinician Dr. Brian Winnie from Western Illinois University. They ended the day as one combined choir and performed together under the direction of Dr. Brian Winnie. The festival was a meaningful experience focused on musical excellence, collaboration, and the celebration of talented young musicians!

This past Friday, the RTHS Concert Choir participated in the 2026 Big Sing at NIU alongside Dekalb High School, Kaneland High School, and the NIU Concert Choir. They performed their own set and also got to share the stage with the other groups. It was quite the enriching experience! Thank you to Dr. Eric Johnson for extending the invitation!
