Saturday, December 2nd, at Steward Elementary School, the Conor O'Rorke Tournament Committee will be hosting a mobile Blood Drive from 9am to 2pm and Ralfie's BBQ will be offering a "Conor's Carryout" $13 meal option to be picked up between 11am and 1pm. A portion of the meal cost proceeds will be going to the Conor Fund, who will make a donation to Lurie's Children's Hospital in Conor's name, and any additional funds will go to improvements for the students at Steward Elementary School.

VOLUNTEER TOMORROW, Saturday 11/18, at the Annual 2 Ton Thanksgiving Food Drive Box Distribution taking place in the rear parking lot of Prescott Ford - 620 S. 7th St., Rochelle from 8:30a.m. to 11:00a.m. Help out and earn Silver Service Hours. This week's Hub Award winner is Isaac Lopez. He's been going above and beyond in helping fellow students with their school work and being a generally positive influence on those around him. His leadership skills have really come out this year, and it's been a pleasure seeing him step up for his classmates.

Congrats to Dalila Garcia who was selected for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award. Garcia will represent RTHS and the state as a delegate at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders June 26-28, 2024 in Boston.

Big thank you to all the Key Club members who have sorted bottle caps. Over 3500 pounds used to make benches all around the Rochelle community and surrounding communities. Golden K Kiwanis has partnered with Key Club to install: *11 six-foot benches *2 eight-foot sport benches for Focus House. *1 six-foot picnic table for Creston School. Awesome work! Thank you all! More benches to come as there are 750 sorted pounds of bottle caps in storage and another 200 pounds left to sort.
