Time to kiss ‘em goodbye! Kissing a Senior has never been easier! At RTHS, the Key Club organizes a fundraiser each spring allowing students to “Kiss our Seniors Goodbye” by attaching a personal message to a packet of Hershey’s Kisses. Candy messages can be purchased before and after school and during the lunch hours!




Student Council would like to thank all the students, staff, and families who stopped by Culver's last night for dinner! The money raised last night will be donated by Student Council to Tails Humane Society. Congratulations to Trent Kreider for winning the $100 gift card raffle!


This week's Hub Award winner is Taelynn Rodeghero. Taelynn was nominated by a couple teachers because of her hard work and willingness to take risks in the classroom; furthermore, her polite, charismatic, and friendly demeanor that makes her a pleasure to be around. Thanks Tae!

CONGRATULATIONS to Cash Budde for receiving the Rochelle Rotary Service Above Self Award for March. Cash, a junior at RTHS, was chosen as the student of the month, in part, because of his many hours given back to our community including volunteering at his church, helping with concession stands, volunteering at Hope Chest and more. Along with a certificate of recognition, Cash also received a gift certificate and a full Scholarship to participate in RYLA, Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, held in Oregon in May.

The School Nurse 👩🏽⚕️& the SRO👮🏻♂️taught in all of the freshman seminar classes today reviewing mental health coping mechanisms, dangers of drugs and vape usage, and how the students are to respond in a critical incidents. The nurse & SRO had a blast connecting with the freshman today!

The science department utilized their new Vernier data collection probes for the solar eclipse. The 1st picture shows the first 15 min of the eclipse and the 2nd shows the temperature and light intensity data the few minutes before and after the peak of the eclipse at RTHS yesterday. Also you can see the honors physics students collecting the data.

The Horticulture class has been hard at work in the greenhouse gearing up for the annual plant sale! Mark your calendars for the Annual Plant Sale May 4th!




Come to Culver’s this Wednesday, April 10th from 5-8 with your friends and family to enjoy some cheese curds and frozen custard with our Student Council! It's National Poetry Month! Yesterday, 29 students entered our Book Spine Poetry Contest. Students browsed the shelves for books with interesting titles and rearranged their stacks until a poem emerged from top to bottom. Seven staff members voted, and these Hubs were honored.
