Congratulations to the Rochelle FFA Horse Judging teams who competed yesterday at the Kewanee Hog Capital Horse Evaluation Competition. Rochelle 2 won the questions division while Rochelle 1 placed 10th and the Rochelle reasons team placed third. Logan Crawford was second individual and Samantha Overton was 6th in the questions division! Congratulations to Sawyer Stockton for placing sixth as an individual in the Reasons division!

The RTHS Music Department is excited to share that Brooklyn Hull, Hiliana Martinez, and Vivian Worthington have been selected to represent our school at the 76th Annual Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
They’ll join more than 900 student vocalists from across the Midwest for an incredible weekend of music-making, culminating in the Grand Concert on January 12th at 5 PM.

SAVE THE DATE for Tuesday, December 9th at 7 pm! We invite sophomores and juniors and their parents to attend an informational session on DUAL CREDIT AND AP CLASSES. Our discussion will cover course insights, associated costs, savings when choosing these classes, available courses, and the committed educators involved. Information will be available at the counseling center if you cannot attend. We want to provide this information to parents and students before the scheduling process kicks off in January. Rochelle FFA members are attending the Illinois FFA BUILD conference today and tomorrow! These ladies are developing their teamwork, communication, and career skills!

The RTHS Dodging Hunger Food Drive Competition will be extended to Monday, November 24th. Get your non-perishable items/and or monetary donations into the LMC by Monday to help your class win an early release on Tuesday, 11/25 and the vote to determine which administrator will wear the turkey costume at the Dodgeball Tournament on Monday night! LET'S GO HUBS!!!!

This week's Hub Award winner is Ty Horn. A couple of teachers nominated Ty for this award because he not only achieves good grades in class, but he also helps those around him succeed. This is truly a testament to Ty and how much he helps RTHS be a better place. Thank you, Ty!

International Club members learned how to make sushi with Mrs. Lenkaitis this past week. Fun times learning a new skill!
