Home & Workplace Maintenance Class includes learning hands-on skills, and also includes career exploration! Students are using Schoolinks to complete their bingo card as they explore apprenticeships, trade schools, and 2 & 4 year colleges that interest them, and what steps they need to accomplish in high school to get there!

Algebra 2 students collected data and used linear regression to estimate the number of rubber bands they would need to give Barbies a bungee jump ride as close to the floor as possible without hitting the floor. The closest group was within an inch of the floor!

Student Council held its first meeting this morning. We were excited to see everyone there and get this year started! Meetings will be held every Friday morning at 7:30 in room B202.
For anyone interested in joining, please see Mrs. Plock (room A206) or pick up an application outside Mrs. Bergeson's room (B202).
Applications are due by the end of the school day on Friday, September 6th. These can be turned into Mrs. Plock or the metal bin outside Mrs. Bergeson's room.

CHD students had fun participating in an activity to learn the importance of effective communication and active listening (listening to understand rather than listening to respond) skills in the many areas of life.

Art Club's first meeting was SLIMETASTIC! Students made purple slime, learned about upcoming events, benefits of being apart of a club and created artistic community! Missed this week? Art club meets every Tuesday from 3:15-4:00pm in Mrs DeKing's room! No experience needed!

ATTENTION Parents of students interested in playing college sports. Join us tonight at the RTHS Open House for a short informational session. This will be held in Mrs. Schweitzer's Room - C101 - from 7 pm to 7:20 pm.

We are thrilled to announce that Rochelle Township High School has received a generous donation from the EKGs for EGK Foundation!
Thanks to a grant we secured, we now have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) 🫀directly located inside our main gym. This addition is a vital step in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and all athletic attendees. We are deeply grateful for the support from the EKGs FOR EGK Foundation, helping us create a safer environment for our school community.
This means we have 14 AEDs across our campus now! We are heart safe designated and fully prepared!
